How to enter
Oaktreeidea members who complete the registration process for Oaktreeidea registration and who vote on the available polling widget are automatically entered into the prize drawing. There is no separate entry form for the drawing. Participants must have cookies enabled on their browser in order to register for Oaktreeidea and the contest. No responsibility is assumed by Oaktreeidea , and entrants waive all claims for lost, late, illegible or misdirected entries or for any problems of technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer equipment, software, failure of any internet service provider or any combination thereof including without limitation any damage to entrant's or any other person's computer resulting from participation in this promotion.
Prize
One winner will receive notification through his/her Oaktreeidea message system on March 21st, 2007 that they have won one Apple iPod nano 4 GB for Mac or Windows. United States federal, state & local taxes and any other applicable taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted.
Prize drawing
Winners selected in a random drawing to be conducted on last day of the contest period. The random drawings will be conducted electronically at Oaktreeidea, and the electronic results are final. The odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries. Winners will be notified by the Oaktree message system within 5 business days of drawing date. A prize winner may choose to decline the prize upon notification if he/she so wishes. If Oaktree Idea is unable to contact potential winner(s) by email or if any potential winner fails to respond to the prize notification within 14 days of issuance of notification or if any winner fails to comply with any of the requirements, an alternate winner shall be selected through another random drawing conducted electronically at Oaktree Idea . Allow 4-6 weeks after verification of winner status for the receipt of prize by mail. If, in Oaktreeidea's opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the contest, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the contest, Oaktreeidea reserves the right to terminate the contest and conduct a random drawing to award the then currently available prizes using all currently eligible online entries received as of the termination date. Should the contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on www.oaktreeidea.com. The contest begins February 8, 2007 and ends March 21st, 2007. The drawing will take place on March 21st, 2007 in Austin, Texas in the USA.
Eligibility
This contest is open to registered users of Oaktreeidea , age 13 years or older. A registered user is an Oaktree member who has completed the registration process at www.oaktreeidea.com. Users who have registered for Oaktreeidea prior to the contest announcement are also eligible. A prize winner is not eligible for subsequent drawings. A prize winner must be registered as a member of Oaktree Idea at the time of the drawing. This promotion is not open to employees of Oaktreeidea or immediate family members. By entering, participants without limitation, release and hold harmless Oaktreeidea and its affiliates, licensees, franchisees, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind in connection with this contest or acceptance and use of a prize won. One registration per person is allowed. Void where prohibited.
Winner
The name of the winner will be available after the winner has been officially notified. Postings can be found on www.oaktreeidea.com.
